**What is Osteopathy?**
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach to health that focuses on restoring balance, alignment, and optimal function throughout the body. It is based on the principle that the body has an innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate when its structure and movement are in harmony.
Osteopathic Manual Therapists use a range of techniques — including structural, visceral, cranial, and functional approaches — to release restrictions, improve circulation, calm the nervous system, and support the body’s natural healing processes. By treating the body as a whole, osteopathy not only relieves pain but also helps restore overall balance, mobility, and well-being.

**Benefits of Osteopathy**
Osteopathy can support:
Relief from back, neck, joint, and muscle pain
Recovery from injuries or surgery
Improved mobility and posture
Stress reduction and nervous system regulation
Support during pregnancy and postpartum
Management of headaches, TMJ pain, and chronic tension

**My Unique Approach**
My practice combines over 15 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist with my training at the Canadian School of Osteopathy, Vancouver, where I completed my Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Therapy (O.M.T.) and over 1,000 hours of supervised clinical training.

I have deepened my skills through extensive post-graduate education, including:

Barral Institute Visceral Manipulation (VM1–4) & Neural Manipulation (NM1–3) – restoring mobility and function to organs and nerves
Craniosacral Therapy & SomatoEmotional Release (Upledger Institute) – gentle techniques to calm the nervous system and release stored tension
Visceral Vascular Manipulation – improving circulation and lymphatic flow for overall vitality
Myofascial and neuromuscular techniques – to free movement restrictions and restore balance

This integrative approach allows me to create individualized care plans for each patient, whether they are seeking pain relief, recovering from injury, or looking for preventative and wellness support. My goal is to help people feel more comfortable in their bodies and improve their quality of life in a way that is gentle, respectful, and effective.
